Till we meet again Joshua

"Trying to comprehend the trials and meaning of this life without understanding Heavenly Father's marvelously encompassing plan of salvation is like trying to understand a three-act play while seeing only the second act. Fortunately, our knowledge of the Savior, Jesus Christ, and His Atonement helps us to endure our trials and to see purpose in suffering and to trust God what we cannot understand." (Elder Neal A. Maxwell on "Enduring Well" Ensign April 1997)

Cinta (Joshua's sister) and Enny (my sister) at Joshua's funeral. Our sister Enny came all the way from her hometown. She told her story of how she took the train overnight and jumped on an "ojek" that morning. The driver told her it would be a long ride to get to my brother's house. It was nice to see her again and have her there to support my brother and his family.
Joshua (August 2005-December 2007)
Cinta (Joshua's sister) was so brave and strong. I didn't see her crying almost as she knew that Joshua was in a better place. She reminded me of the Savior's message to be more like a little child.

my heart goes out to you and your family. as you know it was hard for me to help you post some of his pictures. i felt as all mothers and parents feel when their child is suffering or even worse. i can't imagine. he is with his father in heaven, i know that. he is a very strong little person. i see it in his eyes as i look at his picture. he is a remarkable young man one that i would be honor to meet.

I enjoyed your tribute to Joshua. I am so sorry for your brother's and your family's loss. I agree, having the knowledge of the plan of salvation brings comfort and perspective during these difficult earthly challenges. Thank you for sharing those pictures. They were touching.
